These two Hebrew ISRAELITES were husband and wife. Because of their greed, and reckless vows, they brought upon themselves the swift wrath of God. And the Lord killed them both. As with all of the Lord's commands, the protocol concerning husband and wife (man and woman) comes with distinct directives and or consequences.
